A Big Thank-you to Tony Mantor and his listeners.

The podcast episode featuring Tony Mantor, titled "Why Not Me?", will premiere at the end of September. Meeting Tony was profoundly inspiring, giving me a platform to share my experiences as a mother of children with special needs. With a background in radio journalism and literary studies, I temporarily paused my career to focus on my children's health. However, two years ago, I returned to my passion for writing and published eight books.
I am a dedicated Autism advocate, driven by firsthand knowledge of how children on the Spectrum are often treated. I am committed to making a difference through the power of the written word. My husband of 27 years, a professional editor, wholeheartedly supports my efforts, and we collaborate to create meaningful content for families like yours.

Writing about my parenting journey has been therapeutic, but my true passion remains YA fiction. I am proud to have authored a fantasy series, beginning with "Sincerely Yours... Written in the Stars" and "Inked in Destiny!," which received a Gold Medal at the prestigious Readers' Favorite International Book Competition. My aim was to craft a clean, large-print fantasy series for at-risk teens, infused with 80s music, to gently teach that embracing differences is something to be proud of. Completing this series has filled me with pride, knowing it resonates with bullied teens or those who feel isolated. Every child, whether on the Spectrum or not, possesses unique gifts. My father, an amputee, taught me that a positive mindset and determination are powerful tools.

Thank you for listening to this podcast. I welcome contact via email and invite you to join my mailing list for updates on upcoming projects, including a new podcast aimed at indie clean fiction writers—highlighting the vital work of otherwise invisible creators. I am currently taking a well-earned break from writing until early next year.
